The J. & E. Riggin windjammer, built in 1927 and restored in 1977, has been embraced through out history and is now a National Historic Monument. Able to accommodate 24 passengers and 6 crew members, it sails weekly across the pristine Maine coast line.
Spend the days sailing along the tree-lined coast of Maine’s harbors while spending your nights anchored, sitting on the dock and sipping your steaming coffee while gazing up at the brilliant tapestry of stars. On this Maine windjammer this is a daily ritual that passengers are able to partake in and make the experience their own.
Windjammer cruises are unlike any other ocean voyage you’ve ever experienced. Become part of the crew, share in the exquisite scenery and make friends with seals sunning on ledges or porpoises skimming the surface for air.
